Ridgemont Outfitters

Ridgemont was a unique opportunity to be involved in brand from its inception. Conceptualized as a youthful outdoor lifestyle brand, Ridgemont Outfitters was intended to shake up a stale market segment that was ripe for change. I decided that I would not only accomplish that goal through the visual style, but also in the brands tone of voice and product development. Ridgemont quickly gained an enthusiastic following, primarily through social media marketing, and continues to grow despite a difficult retail landscape.

Aesthetic

Ridgemont was positioned as a modern outdoor brand. Youthful, inclusive and authentic. The design needed to reflect this attitude, so shoots were executed as real adventures. No set ups, just documentation. I believe the authenticity shows through.

I wanted this brand to be about the lifestyle we shared with our audience. I believed that if they wanted to be a part of our community, they would naturally purchase our products.

 

Footwear

Ridgemont draws inspiration from the past and updates it for a modern customer. Proportional tweaks, top quality materials, and hidden technology ensure that the products are more than throwback designs.

Strategic Partnerships

A key component of our marketing was strategic partnerships for special projects. By partnering with endemic, well respected brands, we were able to enter additional market segments with built-in credibility. Ridgemont continues to grow it's reach by employing this strategy.
